A Land Rover for those with smaller budgets.
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery is the Range Rover’s little brother. At a cheaper base price, and some small differences you could say that it’s a take-down model. However despite its lower price the Discovery spares nothing. Packed with a 3.0 L short inline 6 cylinder engine. that produces 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Couple with its 8 speed dual clutch transmission the Land Rover Discovery can reach 60 mph in 6.9 seconds and accelerate to an electronically limited speed of 130 mph. On the exterior the car is both luxurious and fierce. A rear wraparound window provides a clean look to the rear of the car, while a long nose and clean lines give the car a luxurious feel. The chassis, made of a uni-body aluminium alloy, is 1000 lb lighter than the previous model. Being tested in the harshest environments assures that the car is both capable and comfortable in any situation. The interior of the car is packed with features. A four spoke, leather wrapped steering wheel with all the necessary controls makes you feel empowered, while the dash keeps you perfectly informed about all the cars information. The seats are leather and are thick and comfortable, with exceptional leg room in the front, rear and third row. The Discovery easily seats 7 adults in its 3 rows. Heated and cooled seats are offered for the front and rear outside seats, while the middle rear seat and the third row seats offer only heating. A panoramic roof lines the top, and 4 zone A/C and heat keeps everyone happy. The infotainment system provides all the necessary features for a long road trip, and Meridian surround sound audio makes sure that whatever you listen to comes out with crisp clarity and incredible sound quality. For the rear seats integrated screens in the front head rests keep kids, or whoever seats in the back entertained.
