Buick Regal GS
The 2017 Buick Regal GS is a classic example of american craftsmanship and passion. Buick, an auto brand that almost went bankrupt, has introduced many models to appeal every consumer price level in the last few years. From inexpensive family compacts to a mid size sport sedan. The Buick Regal GS is the top of the line for the Regal series and it is an impressive piece of engineering. A turbocharged 2.0 L 4 cylinder engine, that produces 259 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, powers this luxury sports sedan. A 6 speed automatic transmission delivers a seamless driving sensation through the front wheel drive (or optional all wheel drive), and the manual gear select mode amplifies the driving experience by giving you total control of the shifts. Because of its power the Regal GS can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 150 mph. The GS model also comes with dual exhaust tips, and Brembo brakes for precise and safe stopping power. The exterior of the car is immaculate. A steel chassis, coupled with aluminum body panels and plastic bumpers, make the car light while still maintaining rigidity and safety. A rounded and long hood, and a sleek shape throughout make the car fit in with BMW’s and Audi’s. Dual exhaust tips, Bi-Xenon headlamps, led tail lights, and LED daytime running lights are all standard with the GS model, while 20 inch rims come as an option to swap out the 19 inch V-spoke rims. The interior of the car is as nice, if not nicer, than the exterior. 8 way adjustable front leather seats with enough bolsters to keep you in place, but not enough to impede comfort, leather rear seats, wood trim are all standard. A 4 spoke sport, leather wrapped steering wheel that has all the controls needed, such as music control and cruise control, is front and center with the Buick logo. Metal pedals help your feet stay in place while still making them comfortable to hold down on a straight. Dual zone climate control and a 8 inch LCD display line the center console. At the dashboard the Buick Regal GS has a driver optimized, customizable gauge cluster that provides all the information the driver needs at a slight glance downwards. Overall the car is beautiful, both in looks and in performance. Its good to have Buick back in the American car game.
